Guest Speaker:Carol Kinlan

“Watchful Eyes on the Young Learner”

Carol Kinlan conducts comprehensive evaluations of children and teen-agers at The Institute for Learning and Development (ILD) in Lexington, Ma.  Her area of interest includes the early diagnosis and remediation of language-based learning disorders in young children.

Bob Lemire will also be honored as the recipient of the Alice H. Garside Award

SPECIAL NOTE ABOUT BUILDING ACCESS: The Wadsworth Street entrance cannot be used to gain access to the building. All guests must enter the building from the Memorial Drive entrance. Handicapped access will be provided via a marked ramp on the Wadsworth Street side of the building (close to the intersection of Memorial Drive).

From the Mass Pike, I-90 East or West: Take the Cambridge/Allston Exit and stay in the right lane after paying the toll. Follow the “Cambridge” signs past the Doubletree Guest Suite Hotel (formerly Guest Quarters) on your right. Stay straight past the hotel over the Charles River. Take a right onto Memorial Drive. Follow Memorial Drive for 2 miles until you see a sign for “Kendall Square” on your left. Take a left at this sign onto Wadsworth Street. The Faculty Club is located on the 6th floor of 50 Memorial Drive, at the corner of Wadsworth and Memorial.

From I-93 North or South: Follow to exit 26 “Storrow Drive/Cambridge”. Go left immediately through an underpass. Take the first exit on the left, “Government Center/Kendall Square”. At the end of the exit bear right onto the Longfellow Bridge at the “Kendall Square” sign. Go over the bridge to the first right, “Memorial Drive, West.” Take this right and stay on Memorial Drive briefly to the second right onto Wadsworth Street (the first right is actually a ramp that will take you back to Government Center—you want to avoid this!) The Faculty Club is located on the 6th floor of 50 Memorial Drive, at the corner of Wadsworth and Memorial.

Parking: Complimentary parking should be available. The following two lots are open and shared by the Institute. We therefore cannot guarantee availability but we recommend checking them before proceeding to one of the pay lots. E-51 Lot: From Memorial Dr., turn onto Wadsworth St. and take the first left onto Amherst St. The parking lot is the first left at the top of the ramp. Hayward Lot: from Memorial Dr., turn onto Wadsworth St. and take the first left onto Amherst St. Take the first right onto Hayward St.—the lot is located on the left.
